A blog always has one reader

Your blog will always have one loyal reader, that’s you.

People have turned away from blogs due to different content consumption.

Now everyone is reading the AI answers which are supplied from blogs, nobody is going to search the web for some bullshit blog.

But for you – your blog is the most precious thing online, and sometimes you wonder – why there are no views on your blog…

Most of my ‘work’ is just waiting

As a blogger, my ‘work’ is to create articles for my blog.

But most of the work isn’t just writing, most of it is just waiting until some ideas pop up in my head.

Everything I created online came from place of boredom. I was so bored that I created 10000s of videos and 1000s of blog posts which are scattered over the web, some are deleted and lost.

So blogging is more about waiting than writing, when an idea pops up – it’s pretty easy and fast to write it down.

My biggest donation

So, as some of you know I’m a blogger and ex vlogger.

I’ve been making money from donations, and I used to get this question: what’s the biggest donation you got in a single transfer.

So my biggest donation ever was 100€ in one transfer, and that guy gave me x2 of them in a matter of couple of days.

As I have this opportunity to speak with all of you, I want to thank all the donors who have supported me over the years that makes my work somewhat valuable.

Although I make not much from donations and book sales – it’s honest money. I don’t steal or something, also I’m not selling some bullshit course for 1000€.

My books were 0.99$ per piece, but now I decided to become a premium author and I charge 9.99$ per piece. I know it might be too high, but bear with me – I do a lot of free work, that 9.99$ is justified.

If I could get free kebabs and everything free, I would also make my work free, in fact most of it is free even when I have to pay for everything, but I am forced to sell something and ask for donations.

So if you value my work, grab a book or make a donation. Thanks again!

10 kebabs

We just recently talked with my brother about currency that not all currency is equal.

I Googled how much Chinese people make per month in euros and it appeared to be 160€-250€.

If a Chinese person is making 160€ per month, he basically works for 10 fighter kebabs in my country.

That’s why a lot of Chinese and Indian people are coming to our country because here wages are 800€ minimum, somewhere around this price range.

So that’s 44 fighter kebabs.

When choosing work, measure not by amount of numbers, but actually what you can buy. I measure by kebabs.

So Lithuanians are working for x3 times more value than Chinese people, but maybe their kebabs are cheaper. Unfortunately I can’t ship them here. 😀

If now I moved to China I would be rich since I get 560€ disability check.

So now you see that working for me isn’t a choice, but I still produce blog posts just to be productive and not some freeloader. I get money for free and I work for free, so you could say I earn my disability check, although indirectly.

Mistakes I made during my blogging journey

When I first started blogging, I blogged on blogger.com in Lithuanian, you can read a backup of that blog here. I thought 4 million people should be enough for a blog to get some views but that wasn’t true.

Then I drifted to video, and made 40000 videos.

With this experience that I have now, I should have started this blog years ago (17 years ago to be somewhat exact).

I never should have created videos, but at that time that was fun.

So after having this experience I could say for aspiring bloggers: start a blog while you’re a young, don’t drift to video because that’s just too much exposure, even if you start with either video or blog: don’t reset your progress. This happened so many times to me, I was chasing the dream but now I’m settled with this blog.

Instead of doing things that get more views, do things you actually enjoy. If it’s a blog, then blog, because neither video or blog will pay you. Unless other people are really interested in what you do. But most people will be indifferent.

Nonexistence as nonexperience

All living creatures have infinite lives in infinite matrices.

That comes from understanding nonexistence as nonexperience.

When someone doesn’t exist they don’t register nonexistence as an experience.

That said, all lifeforms have infinite lives in infinite matrices because there are just two things: matrix construct and the matrix itself.

So all lifeforms go through matrix construct > matrix > matrix construct > matrix > …

Since someone is already within the matrix he or she can’t defy its existence.

When someone doesn’t exist it doesn’t experience time, time shifts and speeds up because before one was born he or she didn’t wait billions of years to come to the matrix.

Of course this is just a speculation, but it makes sense.

Fun activities don’t translate into money

Everybody would want to have fun and make money but that rarely happens.

Most people work in jobs they hate just to pay the bills.

I never worked, well maybe 3 months with my friend, I found out that jobs I was offered were such bullshit. So instead I decided to work for myself.

Instead of doing what people expect, I do what I want. I rarely get paid for doing what I like. Because there’s a mismatch of demands, people really don’t need what I do, if they had a need, they would support me, but most of what I do has no support.

You know the harsh reality of modern life.

If fun activities would translate into money, nobody would hate their job, but most jobs are just bullshit. Who has the desire to do them? They’re doing it just to get da money to pay da bills.

When I first started blogging

So I started blogging maybe 17 years ago, I blogged everywhere and sought money, but no platform did pay me for views that I got and whatnot, so now I realized that there is no money in blogging, although I made over 2000€ over that time from donations. That’s shit money.

Money from blogging is just the dream that keeps most bloggers writing. You won’t make any money from blogging, maybe that sounds harsh, sorry. Although there is a small minority of bloggers who make money, but most do not. Ask ChatGPT, if you don’t believe me.

Blogging is more of a creative outlet, than money printing machine.

Blog is a platform to publish, but not make money. Even when you put your writing to sites like KDP, you earn little to no money and it doesn’t matter how much you publish.

I have 100+ titles on Kindle and they get me just 1-2€ per month, totally passive income.

You see, everybody would want a life where you just sit on the computer and do bullshit work and get paid. Blogging is bullshit work.

Nobody needs a new product

The world has run for thousands of years without your product, and when you come up with something new, it really doesn’t have the need.

So it boils down to persuasion. You have to persuade people that they need your shit.

So the desires we have are actually persuasions of other people. Fundamentally, we really don’t need much, although we still might have the desire for something more than basic living.
